The Origin
Bringing Homely Skincare to the Fore
The inception of TOC came in about July 2019 and is a culmination of thoughts and experiences spanning from founder Rashika Sharma’s childhood till now. Long before formulating her own products, Rashika had shown a keen interest in skincare from an early age. Having been brought up in a quintessential Indian joint family, using natural ingredients like gram flour, turmeric, shikakai, reetha, roses, oranges etc. in skincare was a common sight for her. Rashika worked closely with several household brand names like Kama Ayurveda, Jovies, Shehnaz Hussain, Fab India and many more, inspiring her to start a brand of her own. Upon pursuing a course in natural skincare formulation, Rashika started The Orange Company.
